The development of the Simmerring® is a success story based on many years of experience. Radial shaft seals from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are also available under the Dichtomatik brand, in different designs and materials as standard products or as made-to-measure solutions, with spring-loaded sealing lips or without springs, PTFE seals for high resistance and low friction, combined seals with additional functionalities or increased resistance to dirt ingress, rubber or PTFE radial seals for pivoting shafts. In addition, the range includes shaft repair sleeves and end caps.

Radial Shaft Seals / Simmerring®
Radial shaft seals (including Simmerring® as a protected product brand) in accordance with DIN 3760 are used for the reliable sealing of rotating shafts and axles. They protect machines against leakage and the ingress of contaminants and are designed to withstand high loads in continuous industrial operation.
Radial shaft seal Radiamatic®
Shaft seals from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies under the protected Radiamatic® brand have been operating successfully in heavy industry applications for decades. Made of PTFE, the main focus of use is in the process industry. Numerous versions, including customized solutions – e.g. with double or protective lip – meet the individual requirements of users.
Cassette & Combi Seals
The cassette seals consist of a Simmerring Oil Seal and an unlosable, integrated running surface. Thanks to the rational system solution with an integrated labyrinth, the complete unit provides high protection against impurities. In addition, the combination seals are particularly suitable for use with strong loads. In the process, the integrated running surface meets the special requirements placed on a dynamic seal. Additional advantage: The cassette and combination seals of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are flexible, allowing axial and rotary movements.
Axial Seals
Freudenberg Sealing Technologies offers axial shaft seals and V-rings for different operating conditions, both as standard and custom solutions. The axial shaft seals are an upstream element protecting the interior space of the housing against dirt, dust and spray water, and act reliably and safely even in aggressive environments and axial movements.
Shaft Repair Sleeves
The shaft repair sleeves of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are a fast and affordable solution for use in repairs for the lasting recovery of perfect functioning. They are simply pushed over the worn running surface. The shaft repair sleeves are used as an integrated running surface for the radial shaft seal in the tribological rotation sealing system. In addition to the radial shaft seal and the lubricant used, it is the third most important component in the sealing system.
End Caps
The caps of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are available in various designs: from the standard solution and designs with a vulcanised reinforcement plate to numerous special shapes. The caps are characterised by their stable structural design. They are used for the safe sealing of round holes in housings.
